(a) To be certified as a real estate appraiser by examination, an applicant must pass the following examination not later than 24 months after being approved to take the examination:
- (1) for general or institutional certification, the Uniform State Certification Examination endorsed by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation; or
- (2) for residential certification, the Uniform State Residential Certification Examination endorsed by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation.
- (b) Repealed 1/16/2005.
- (c) An examination score is valid for 24 months after the date the applicant passed the examination.
