1. (a) As used in AS 08.68.270, AS 08.68.334, and this chapter, crimes that are substantially related to the qualifications, functions, or duties of a certified nurse aide, registered nurse, or practical nurse include

   1. (1) murder;
   2. (2) manslaughter;
   3. (3) criminally negligent homicide;
   4. (4) assault;
   5. (5) sexual assault;
   6. (6) sexual abuse of a minor;
   7. (7) unlawful exploitation of a minor, including possession or distribution of child pornography;
   8. (8) incest;
   9. (9) indecent exposure;
   10. (10) robbery;
   11. (11) extortion;
   12. (12) stalking;
   13. (13) kidnapping;
   14. (14) theft;
   15. (15) burglary;
   16. (16) forgery;
   17. (17) endangering the welfare of a child;
   18. (18) endangering the welfare of a vulnerable adult;
   19. (19) unlawful distribution or possession for distribution of a controlled substance; for purposes of this paragraph, "controlled substance" has the meaning given in AS 11.71.900;
   20. (20) reckless endangerment.
2. (b) Convictions of an offense in another jurisdiction with elements similar to an offense listed in (a) of this section are substantially related to the qualifications, functions, or duties of a certified nurse aide, registered nurse, or practical nurse.
