1. (a) A finish carpenter is a specialty contractor who works on anything made of wood, or wood-like material, attached to the interior of a structure and which is visible, including

   1. (1) interior wooden trim;
   2. (2) cabinets;
   3. (3) built-in shelving;
   4. (4) interior stairs and banisters;
   5. (5) cornices;
   6. (6) laminated countertops;
   7. (7) doors, door hardware, locks, and latches;
   8. (8) windows and sills;
   9. (9) wooden or plastic laminated wall paneling;
   10. (10) moldings;
   11. (11) chalkboards and tackboards;
   12. (12) motorized window louvers, blinds, shades, or drapery hardware; or
   13. (13) hardwood flooring and floor refinishing.
2. (b) Finish carpentry is either performed by the contractor or subcontracted to another similarly registered contractor.
