- (a) All forms of communications with clients, including electronic communications, must comply with the requirements of 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164 regarding privacy, security, and breach for purposes of P.L. 104-191 (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996).
- (b) Licensees must endeavor to protect clients from unwanted interruptions during sessions involving synchronous distance professional services.
