Alaska Admin. Code tit. 12, § 09.068 – Body piercing, tattooing, and permanent cosmetic coloring examinations

(a) The written examination for a body piercing license is entitled the Body Piercing Test, sponsored by the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology. The examination for a license to practice tattooing or permanent cosmetic coloring is a written examination prepared and administered by the board covering the subjects listed in AS 08.13.080(d)(2).
(b) A grade of 75 percent or higher on the examinations listed in (a) of this section is a passing grade.
(c) Foreign language interpreters are not allowed in the examination room.
