If an inspection under AS 27.21.230 or an investigation under AS 27.21.240 shows that a person meets the criteria for criminal prosecution under AS 27.21.250(e), (f), (g), or (i), the commissioner may notify the attorney general of the results of the inspection or investigation and request that the attorney general pursue criminal prosecution against the person.
