The director will, in his discretion, require a purchaser of timber under this chapter to provide cabins or quarters of the customary type in use in logging camps and satisfactory to the state for use by state personnel inspecting timber contract operations. Ownership of the cabins or quarters remains with the purchaser. The purchaser shall rent the cabins or quarters to state personnel at a rate agreed upon in advance by the director and the purchaser.
