For purposes of filing a UCC record under AS 45.29.501(a)(2) and (b), the UCC central filing office is the support services division, Uniform Commercial Code section within the department. The proper office of the department in which to file a fixture statement and related records under AS 45.29.501(a)(1) is the recording office for the recording district in which the related real property is located.
