1. (a) The recorder may accept a certified copy of a document for recordation if allowed by AS 40.17.030 or by (b) of this section.

2. (b) Acceptable certified copies of a document for recordation include

   1. (1) a document or record from a court of the United States or this state;
   2. (2) a document or record previously recorded in another recording district of this state or a public recorder's office in another state; and
   3. (3) repealed 8/23/2001;
   4. (4) a document or record from a governmental office.
3. (c) A copy of a document or record previously certified by a recording office of this state may not later be presented for recording in the same district in which the original document or record was recorded.
