In this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise,

1. (1) "adjutant general" has the meaning given in AS 26.30.900;
2. (2) "department" means the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs;

3. (3) "facility"

   1. (A) has the meaning given in AS 26.30.900;
   2. (B) includes a military base;
4. (4) "municipality" has the meaning given in AS 01.10.060.
