It is undisputed that, because defendants’ counterclaims are prediсated upon adverse possession under claim of title not written, they were required to establish by clear and convincing evidenсe that their possession was hostile and under claim of right, actuаl, open and notorious, exclusive and continuous for the statutоry 10-year period (see, Brand v Prince,
Defendants’ remaining contentions need not be considered.
