1. As provided by an .act approved March 29, 1937 (Ga. L. 1937, p. 804, § 5), no contract entered into by any person, firm, or corporation, is illegal on the ground that it was entered into in a trade or partnership name not filed or registered in accordance with the laws in force at the time of the making of the contract “but all such contracts and undertakings are expressly validated as against any such objection; and no suit or action heretofore or hereafter instituted by any such person, firm, partnership, or corporation, whether sounding in contract or tort, shall be defeated because of any such failure to register.” This act
2. The defendant filed no denial of the allegations in the petition, but admitted a prima facie case, and set up the defense indicated in the plea which was stricken. The court, after striking the plea, did not err in- directing the verdict for the plaintiff.
Judgment affirmed.
