on the authority of the case of U. S. v. Jourdine [Case No. 15,499], refused to permit ‍‌‌‌​​​‌‌​​​‌​​‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​​‌​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌‍the United States to give evidence of the ill fame of the defendant herself.
