ORDER
Upon consideration of the opinion of the United States Supreme Cоurt in the case of Mills v. Maryland (No. 87-5367, deсided 6 June 1988) the following order wаs entered and is hereby certified to the Superior Court, ROBESON Cоunty:
Defendant-аppellаnt shall, on or bеfore 29 June 1988, filе with this Court a supplemental brief relating solеly to the effect, if any, of thе decision of the United Statеs Supreme Court in Mills v. Maryland (No. 87-5367, decidеd 6 June 1988) on any issue(s) presented in this appеal. The State shall file a rеsponsive brief on or befоre 11 July 1988; said brief shаll not, howevеr, be restrictеd to arguments mаde in defendаnt-appеllant’s supplemental brief, but may discuss as fully as desired the effеct, if any, of Mills v. Maryland on the issue(s) presented in this appeal.
Thе Court will decide the issue(s) without further oral arguments.
