The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 176 Conn. App. 156, 169 A.3d 264 (2017), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court err in determining that the trial court properly denied the defendant's challenge under Batson v. Kentucky, 476 U.S. 79, 96-98, 106 S. Ct. 1712, 90 L.Ed. 2d 69 (1986) ?"
