State ex rel. Clanton v. 26th Judicial District Court, Webster Parish, Minden
313 So. 2d 845 | La. | 1975
In re: Ernie Ray Clanton, applying for writ of mandamus.
Writ denied. The minute entry of January 7, 1969 shows that the defendant was informed of his right to counsel and “refused the services of counsel” at the time he entered his plea of guilty. He is not entitled to the relief sought by his letter to the District Court. The denial of this application is without prejudice to any right the defendant may have to apply for relief under La.C.Cr.P. Art. 351 et seq.
