Walter L. Moyer presented his petition to the Public Service Commission for the allowance of a certificate of public convenience for the running of one twenty-passenger auto-bus and an additional twenty-six-passenger auto-bus. The application was opposed by the Pottsville Union Traction Company on the ground that its approval was not necessary or proper for the service, accommodation, convenience or safety of the public. Appellant contends that the service furnished by .the electric railway company now operating is adequate and affords sufficient transportation facilities between the points named in the application and that the operation of the auto-busses will curtail the operation of the electric railway line and reduce its receipts.
