The Court of Appeals certified to the Supreme Court the following question: “Is bigamy, under the peculiar language of our statute (Penal Code 1910, § 367), a continuing offense so long as the person who has committed it continues 'in knowingly having a plurality of husbands or wives at the same time,’ so that a prosecution therefor is not barred by the statute of limitations if it be commenced within four years of such 'having,’ although not within four years of the second or unlawful marriage ceremony?”
