Because there were no witnesses to the accident and since the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident had died, the chief evidence against defendant was the finding of a serumosmology blood test performed upon his blood for diagnostic purposes after he was taken, in a semiconscious state, from the scene of the accident to a hospital.
