Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (D. Friedman, J.), rendered June 18, 1997, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

The defendant’s contention that certain remarks made by the prosecutor during summation were improper is unpreserved for appellate review since he raised only general objections to the challenged remarks, did not request curative instructions when his objections were sustained, and did not move for a mistrial (see, People v Nuccie,
