We reject defendant‘s remaining contention that the court erred in allowing the prosecutor to cross-examine a defense witness with respect to a prior incident in which she and defendant were arrested. The record establishes that the witness testified that no one else was involved in the incident, and the prosecutor did not ask her whether defendant was arrested or charged in connection with that incident. In any event, we conclude that any error in that respect is harmless (see generally People v Crimmins, 36 NY2d 230, 241-242 [1975]).
