Memorandum: Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him upon a jury verdict of two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree (
We reject defendant‘s further contention that the verdict is against the weight of the evidence. The testimony of the young victim established all the elements of the crimes charged. “Great deference is to be accorded to the [jury‘s] resolution of credibility issues based upon its superior vantage point and its opportunity to view witnesses, observe demeanor and hear the testimony” (People v Roman, 17 AD3d 1166, 1167 [2005]). After weighing the conflicting testimony and the inferences to be drawn therefrom, we conclude that the jury did not fail to give the evidence the weight it should be accorded (see generally People v Bleakley, 69 NY2d 490, 495 [1987]).
