The appellant has failed to establish that he was denied ‍‌​‌‌​‌​​​​​‌‌​​​‌‌​‌​‌​​‌​‌‌‌​​​‌‌​​​​​‌​​‌‌​‌‌​‍the effective assistance of appellate counsel (see Jones v Barnes, 463 US 745). Ritter, J.P., McGinity, H. Miller ‍‌​‌‌​‌​​​​​‌‌​​​‌‌​‌​‌​​‌​‌‌‌​​​‌‌​​​​​‌​​‌‌​‌‌​‍and Townes, JJ., concur.
