FIRST MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

TO THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF THE COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS: Comes now, Jeremy Teak Palmer, Petitioner and Files this Motion for an extension of sixty ( 40 ) cups in which to file a Petition for Discretionary Review. In support of this motion, a ppellant shows the court the follassy: I.

The Petitioner was convicted in the 22 nd District Court of Comal Canty Texas of the offense of DuW I 3 rd in case No. 2013CR-250, styled State of Texas vs. Jeremy Teak Palmer. The Petitioner appealed to the Court of Appeals, 3 rd Supreme Judicial District. The case was affirmed on August 28, 2015.

The present deadline for filigy the Petition for Descretionary Reviem is December 18, 2015. The Petitioner has not regwoted any extension prior to this regwost.

Petitioners regiest for an extension is based on the following facts: Petitioner was not informed of the decision of the carth of appols in afFirming his case until Dovember 25, 2015. Since that time Petitioner has been atemptly to gain legal representation in this matter. His attorney on the appeal, Gary F. Chur ak, has informed Petitioner that he will not represent him on the Petition for Discretionary Review. As an inmate of Texas Department of Criminal Justice I am only aforded ten ( 10 ) havs a week in the law library to prepare the Petition for Discretionary Review and even then during those 10 havs resorces (Backs) are limited and if another inmate Is using the book I need I lasse thet amount of time.

WHEREFOR, Petitioner proys this carth grant this motion and extend the deadline for filigy the Petition for Discretionary Review in Case No. 03-15-0000525-CR to February 18, 2016.
