Contrary to plaintiff’s contention, we conclude that the court properly denied the motion. “[T]here are questions of fact . . . whether . . . the ladder, which was not shown to be defective in any way, failed to provide proper protection, and whether . . . plaintiff should have been provided with additional safety devices” (Gange v Tilles Inv. Co., 220 AD2d 556, 558 [1995]; see Nazario v 222 Broadway, LLC, 28 NY3d 1054, 1055 [2016]; Grogan v Norlite Corp., 282 AD2d 781, 782-783 [2001]; Donovan v CNY Consol.
