Adhering to our views that ‍​​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​​​​​​‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​​​​​​​‌​​​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​​​​​‌‍the death penalty is in all circumstances cruel and unusual ‍​​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​​​​​​‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​​​​​​​‌​​​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​​​​​‌‍punishment prohibited by the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments, Gregg v. Georgia, 428 U.
