The opinion of the court was delivered,
— By these artioles of association, a member may be expelled for “ any criminal act or any other offence against the law;”' and if the members really mean this, they show a very commendable regard for public order. But we rather regard it as the loose expression of their scrivener. Do they really mean that if a member should happen to swear a little, or enjoy some Fourth of July too freely, or leave his horse and wagon in the street without an attendant, or not clean off his pavement as .the law requires, he shall be liable to expulsion ? We are sure they do not mean all the little offences of omission
