We are asked to dismiss this appeal on the ground that the would-be appellants, the defendants in the Illinois “motor voter” case (see
Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) v. Edgar,
The defendants waived their right to appeal. Their effort to retract the waiver borders on the frivolous. Both this court and the people of Illinois expect and deserve better from the Attorney General of Illinois.
